This list of former architects is not complete, but is the best that can be done with the
information available, most of which precedes the establishment of the NZRAB.
The purpose of the list is primarily to recognise the contributions of former
architects, and to assist those doing historical
research and those selling or buying second hand houses who want to know if the
designer was an architect.
